This a traditional creamy cole slaw. Perfect accompaniment for pulled pork, fried chicken, or barbeque.
- 1/2 head cabbage, thinly shredded
- 1 shredded carrot (optional)
- 2 tbsp white vinegar
- 1 tbsp sugar
- Salt and Pepper
- 2 heaping tbsp mayo
Clean and shred veggies and put into a large container with a lid. Add the white vinegar and sugar to a small jar and shake to dissolve the sugar. Taste the mixture to make sure the sweet/acid balance is to your taste, adjust if necessary. Add mayo, salt and pepper and shake well to combine into a smooth dressing. Add dressing to cabbage mixture. Put lid into the container and shake to coat the cabbage.
