Unwedged Salad

I love the flavors in a wedge salad, but I don’t like a salad that requires me to cut it as I eat. So here is my preferred way to serve up the tastes of a wedge but more accessibly

  • 1/2 lb mixed mild lettuce
  • 5 strips of chopped cooked bacon
  • 1/2 cup diced heirloom tomato
  • 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese dressing (recipe: https://mangiavita.com/articles/blue-cheese-dressing/ )

Clean and slice your lettuce and add to a bowl. Toss the lettuce with your dressing and serve into portions. Add the tomato, bacon and blue cheese crumbles on top of each portion. Enjoy!
