This is a smokey sauce that is good on tacos, burritos, nachos and more.
- 1 shallot, finely diced
- 2 garlic cloves, finely diced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp ancho chili powder
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Add all ingredients to a small non-stick skillet on a low flame. Stir and cook the ingredients together until the flavors meld and the shallot has softened.
