Meat Sauce and Calabrian Chili Pizza

Since the start of the pandemic, we make pizza every Sunday night! We will be sharing our weekly pizza’s with you.

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 round of pizza dough (1/4 of this recipe
  • 1/2 cup homemade meat sauce
  • 1 1/4 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp crushed Calabrian chili pepper
  • Grated pecorino cheese

Oil a 10 inch cast iron skillet. Stretch the dough into an even layer. Add your the meat sauce, then the mozzarella. dot the Calabriam chili pepper over the pizza to your taste (remember it’s spicy) and finally add a generous sprinkling of pecorino cheese.

Bake at 400 for about 20 minutes until golden and bubbly. Slice and enjoy!
